If you do something long enough and you love what you do, eventually you’ll get good at whatever it is you do. I read a book a week. In addition to reading a book a week, I read tons of other materials. Our network includes a lot of insurance and underwriting professionals who also read a lot. Think of Think Tanks. Call it management consulting with a twist. We’re not going to tell you how to run your business. Your business is yours to run anyway you see fit. But sometimes it is a good thing to get an independent outside opinion. One example is the work we do for DeMatteo Monness.
